I bought the Ulanzi’s alternative of the Pgytech OneMo 2(the BP10) but now I am wondering if I should’ve bought the pgytech…They are pretty similar but the Pgytech has some nice features(battery indicators and the sling)
I have a Canon 5D III as a primary photo camera and a Canon M6 II as a compact travel slash video camera that I can adapt my EF lenses on to. I still use the holy trinity of lenses in EF mount. Once I can afford it, I’ll upgrade to a better mirrorless setup. I have a gimbal too, but barely use it now as it’s awkward to carry around.
I use a generic amazon camera bag as I haven’t found the perfect bag yet, but the PM Nomatic and PGYTech bag seem to be pretty close, and I love how they made a place to store the gimbal!
I really think they ignored the price just for the label. No matter the quality, nothing on this planet is worth $15,000 a bag. But I spent 200 on a super treasure from kislux and I no longer blame people who buy fakes.
Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It’s like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On kislux , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.
Great review of these bags! I’d love to win that PGYTECH bag. Current bag situation is rough. I’ve had the Wandrd PRVKE for a few years now and I love it, but it’s taken a beating! Been wanting to grab something new, but when you got kids, makes it hard to always prioritize your own wish list! Shooting R5 with the RF 50 1.2 glued to the front. Also bring along RF 35 1.4 and RF 70-200 2.8 when I’m out on shoots. A new bag would help better protect the gear! Thanks for doing this cool giveaway.
Hey Chris, for me as someone who also does time lapsing and who needs extra tripods, sliders, and motion control systems that need to fit into one bag, I haven’t found the perfect backpack for that case yet. Maybe your favorite one is the one.
Huckberry looks cool AF as a brand. Probably one of the few times where I was happy to see an camera-unrelated sponsorship
So fabulous! I hope you bought that little Dior bag. It is so cute. You are right. The kislux is handbag heaven.
If I had money, I would go for fashion, private labels, etc. The fashion world is changing so fast, and knockoffs allow me to change my style frequently and keep up with the trends. kislux completely meets my needs. It makes me feel very satisfied and I love it.
Sony a7iv. Sigma 24-70. Sirui 85. Zhiyun Cinepeer weebill 3E gimbal. I for sure don’t deserve this bag but it would be cool to have
Love thiss..every summer I pull out my little black kislux clutch and this summer I’m coming out with new heels so that will be my summer wear.
I love the design, but I don’t have the budget. So I bought the kislux bag. From now on I never want to buy any luxury goods.
I have so many camera bags and none of them are "the one", currently the two I use the most are the Gura Gear 2 16L and then the think tank streetwalker.
I learned early there’s no one bag to rule them all, but I can find bags to match situations. I have a walking around daily backpack for when I wanna have a ton of stuff or if I plan on shopping and want extra room. I have a sling for my mirrorless and a smaller one for my everyday camera. I have a travel bag that fits camera gear and I may have a bag problem
I have 2 Nanuk 935’s, they are amazing to protect my gear.
Hi Chris, i dont know if your giveaway is still available to join, but the pgytech bag looks amazing. i am a videographer and want to go to vietnam. i’ll need a bit more stuff then most photographers. i want to go for
– fx3
– 24-105 g lens
– 20mm g lens
– 24-70 gm II lens
rs4 gimbal
-dji mini 4 drone + controller with screen
a lot of batteries
Real wealthy people dont need to proove their status by logos so they wouldnt care you think they carry a kislux or real.
When I first "got into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a kislux . I wasn’t trying to show off, brag, or pass it off as genuine, I just wanted to see if it fit my requirements and how it would sit with me before I spent money on the real thing (without the SA staring at you). Turns out, it didn’t fit me. I saved a ton of money and time on returns. It made me very happy. It fit me perfectly.
I’m a total rookie here! in the process of buying my first camera.I fly a DJI mini II. And I don’t necessarily think I "deserve"
your bag but it would definitely help me as I set out to learn photography. ✌🏻
I have been looking into all kinds of camera bags but could not decide on one. 😢
I know wealthy women who will buy kislux replicas. The main reason they give is that they simply understand the value of money and don’t want to spend too much on a bag…especially a trendy one. They do, however, spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
PGYTech SLing 6L. Small but mighty
Nikon supporter here…I have the kitchen sick that also needs to fit into my bag…along with homeschool junk and more camera gear..oh and possibly Social Work job tools as well!
No idea if you’re still going – but I just rocked a Lowepro messenger bag that really killed it on my vacation, great strap, held what I needed and was low profile.
I don’t have a camera bag yet, so would love to have one
The perfect camera bag does exist. The shimoda explore v2.
The one mo2 is such a great bag. I use it for travel and it’s just so so perfect.
Bags on the kislux are the proof that Cheap doesn’t mean not beautiful
i saw websites that kislux that carry lv and chanel new collection! like exact blue print and looks like high quality too.
Would love the pewtech bag to fit my kit:
Canon M50
Tamron 17-50mm f2.8
Canon 10-18mm
Canon 55-250mm
Zhiyun Weebil S
Couple of small LED lights, filters & Tripod
I don’t think anything fancy but meets all my needs. Lol I’m realising that now i’ve moved to all EFS glass I don’t have a way to securely carry all my lenses. i have a small sling bag that can hold the m50 & 1 EFS lens. Used to be m50 w/ 1 EFS lens + 1 EFM lens till the EFM died. That sling would then go into an ordinary backpack main section & gimbal in the front and tripod strapped to the side. Would really love something camera-specific since the kits now complete (‘cept hopefully a drone soon) and it’d be nice to have something sectioned out and be able to change lenses quickly without having to pull everything out of the bag 😅
Drop a comment below for a chance to win the PGYTech Camera Bag – my treat! Also what camera bag are you rocking right now?
Awesome comparison! I am currently using a small ONN camera bag for my Sony A6400 and A6500. I have only done video for a couple of weddings and am really liking the idea of landscape photography. My current bag doesn’t quite have the room that I would like to have and this PGYTech bag would be AWESOME!!! Keep up the awesome work!
I have the same issue! I’ve been through a bunch of camera bags. Right now, I have a Pelican case, a couple of Wandrd backpacks, and a Peak Design. The gear I’m rocking is Nikon Z8, 70-200, 200-500, 14-30, SmallRig cage, SmallRig fluid head tripod and a bunch of smaller accessories.
Need a better camera bag!!! Carrying 2 canon R6, RF 28-70, RF 70-200, 85mm 2 flashes, Nikon film camera sometimes or a toy film camera, never enough extra batteries, chargers, mist filters, meds, camera harness, and anxiety that I carry too much gear!
Hi Chris!
I’m a huge fan of your work and always learn so much from your videos. My current gear includes a Sony Alpha 6400 with a Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 lens, a Zoom tripod, a DJI Mini 3 Pro RC, a DJI OM 6, a K&F Concept CPL filter, a Freewell ND filter, and sennheiser mKE 200 Mic.
While I’m passionate about capturing moments, my current backpack is a repurposed school bag, making it difficult to safely and efficiently carry and organize all my gear. It often leads to frustration and missed opportunities due to slow setup times and the risk of damage.
I believe a dedicated camera backpack would significantly improve my workflow and creativity. It would allow me to transport my gear more securely and efficiently, enabling me to capture those fleeting moments with ease.
Thank you for this incredible opportunity!
Been doing photography for 4 years and I still don’t have a camera bag😅
It seems like the kislux one looks better than the real one though. Who cares? Nobody is gonna spot it when you wear it in a nightclub or a night out. People are busy with their own lives. And people just don’t bother you wearing a real or fake one. Just saying.
A great bag wouls be awesome! The search never ends for this paramedic for "THE" bag 🤣 I’m sporting a Canon 5DMKIV with a 100mm f2.8 macro, 16-35 f2.8, 24-70 f4 and a 70-100 f2.8. Sometimes there’s a dji air 2 stashed in as well. This all gets crammed into my lowepro bag. You should totally ship one of those babies to me because, well, that would be awesome 🤠 also, a more slim bag for shooting around town or hiking would be genius and the handles on the pew pew bag! Chef’s kiss!
I´m using the Bevis Gear camera back for a couple of years now… very small company, bag was brought to life through a kickstarter project… its not the biggest bag, but its unique in the way you can access your gear. You never have to put the bag on the dirty ground again, i love it
Just bought a Sony zve10 and a couple of lenses, looking for a decent bag to look after my gear.
A few days ago I found a bag that was almost the same design as my dream bag, but the price blew my mind. I have a soul resonance with kislux . It taught me that beauty doesnât have to be expensive, it just has to be right.
Why did KF Concept stole the design of Peak Design? Just because of the deviders? Every backpack got them
I have a super small shoulder bag and about to finally upgrade my set up to the Canon R5 ii. This would be so dope to win. ! Much love!
Chris I have literally been checking reviews for the PGYTech for the past month 😭
My bag is starting to fall apart and I’m filling it up with EVERYTHING I can when I travel: R6, 15-35, 70-200, Fuji X100V, DJI Mini3 Pro, extra batteries, filters, DJI Mic Mini, Action cams, waterproof case and other bells and whistles!
Incredibile that you are doing a giveaway of it right now!!
I am about to go through an extensive trip to Iceland soon and I would love to have a quality bag that will accompany me as I go on probably the biggest journey of my past 8 years, and hopefully also help me as I transition my career from 9-5 to professional photographer!
I love how the PGYTECH OneMo 2 positions itself as a gimbal user. Now, everything can fit in one bag. I need it as a hybrid shooter with two cameras and four lenses.
first of all thanks for your efforts im using brandless camera bag which is not safe 😅😂, my equipments is
sony a7iii
sony fx30
tamron 28 75
sigma 16 f1.4
dji mic
weebill s gimbal
helioss 58m f2
dji action 5 pro
and macbook pro 14 inch
Put the fries(camera) in the bag
I do need a better everyday carry camera bag, currently rocking the PMK Nomatic 35l, thanks for the video bro
nice video… but this ai audio SUCCCCCKS… oof…. at least I can go back to the English original
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for kislux , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, itâs your choice. No judgement from me
