Excellent video!!
Caffeine pills instead of coffee. Protein bars instead of hot meals (no stove or cookware needed).
Love this pack, but it’s seriously lacking in first aid. Get yourself a good first aid kit including splints for sprained ancles and/or broken bones. The added weight is worth it. Better to have and not need…you get the point.
Edit: you did mention a small kit for blisters and such but, that is so not enough.
Beginnerโs rule #1, donโt backpack alone if youโre going more than two miles from your car. Solo hikers come to a bad end about 50x more than groups/teams. No redundancy, no backupโฆ.
Wow, so much flashy plastic garbage!
This was so useful for me and love love the bidet idea! ๐
If you’re going to print a map and take a cheap compass, please stay at home because both are useless
I laughed a little too hard at the placement of the external link at 2:00.
warter @7:56
I Never use toilet paper, dude wipes all the way…. No extra water or a bidet to keep me clean
Ur bag must be heavy
You can’t tell me that ain’t Mr. Beast – he even sounds like him!
wow great video !
The travel bidet is brilliant! I use a bidet at home and it is the thing I miss most when I’m out adventuring.
Oh god no!! Plastic water bottle? And why the glasses? Bye
I like hiking very much
I get buying quaility but what beginer is going ti spend 300 bucks on a sleeping bag
Whoa I have almost an identical set up. Haha
Great info, thanks for making it sound easy ๐
Looks like you covered the essentials too.
A brand i recommend looking into is Stroup Knifes. After getting one a few years ago its all I use.
Thanks so much for the video! I didn’t know they make a portable bidet and that sounds like a lifesaver.
Bro wtf this is not for beginner ahahah
I’m just gonna bring some wet wipes instead of the bidet I think
Thank you for the video! However, with the high prices of the products you used, I doubt I’ll be able to start hacking. I want to emphasize the words "beginner" and "first adventure." These tools seem more suited for professionals rather than beginners.
All my back packing gear was acquired in the late 1990โs, you picked up that nemo tent in your hand and blew my mind. I Might need to retire my 7lb north face lenticular tent.
Lol rich people make me laughโฆ.but I am poor, sooo.
This whole video is just the most wild flex of over priced gear ๐
Cool
My respect for you went up 10x after the poop situation. Thanks for the tips
Oh no ,nothing is crazy about this gear aside from nemo tags…๐every student can afford that. Have you no shame? This guy literally goes through top price tag items which is ok, especially if they gave it to you to advertise for free, but quit acting like thats remotely affordable for a "beginner" *unsub*
That’s a really helpful video for beginners
This is SUCH good video!! Thank you so much!!
How on earth should all this weigh just 15 pounds?
That little portable pump looks super handy
Love the bidet thingy. But no small shovel??
Just buy a tent and go camping.
Culo cleaner had me rolling ๐๐๐
Kinda feel like this is a kit for someone with absolutely 0 experience outdoors…
I also always bring a couple Ziploc bags for trash to pack out and a kitchen garbage bag that I can put over my pack in the event of sudden rain.
Florida camping..it was -40 last week here..the toilet tissue version of fabrics and tiny heat sources would work good..in my partially heated garage.
Cool to see a outdoor content creator from the greatest place to go outdoors.
34 liter backpack for a beginner?! You have miss understood the assignment. My day to day backpack is 30 litersโฆ
Toilet paper over wipes is crazy
Did I miss the rain gear? Mid layers? Puffy? Weather in Idaho is definitely not guaranteed to be warm and dry.
Who the hell is going to get a $400 dollar Nemo hornet tent for all you beginners out there just get a feather stone granite 2p itโs $120 and itโs as good as the Nemo and itโs one forth the price, also do not!!!! Get the beady plz. Ps go to a different Miranda goes outside she has some great advice.
starting to think these channels are just about advertising products
I’ve been struggling to save space with my gear and confused how everyone does it. Your tent bag is like a quarter the size of mine!
This is definitely not a beginner’s guide and most of these items are not essentials. That setup costs so much money, why would a beginner spend this much money when he doesn’t even know if he will continue hiking long term? There is no reason to make beginner’s believe that the barrier to entry to hiking is several hundreds dollars. If you are a beginner go buy some cheap Walmart camping gear and just GO hike, to see if you enjoy it before spending thousands for a setup like this. Yes cheap gear is worse but you can still hike with it, the tittle says essentials but what is essential about a 600$ tent? essentials means necessary. You missed the mark with this video I feel like it’s more of a setup showcase which is fine but the tittle is misleading in that case.
A bunch of city boy gadgets and no extra socks or bandages โฆโฆ.
Anywhere you want to go is when I go purchase the plane ticket
