    I get what you mean about enjoying the process and not worrying about settings but to you settings are second nature. To many of us they are still necessary requiring some thought and attention as at least I don’t have that kind of experience so in order to achieve this enjoyment of process would mean using automatic or semi automatic programming. I guess that this is ok for most and allows for the “seeing” but doesn’t add anything to the “learning” part. I tend to take my photography journey as a hunt and when I find my prey I need to set up my gear so as to get that clean shot 😊

    That was a minimalistic video too. Straight to the point. Lots of excellent examples. Sufficient to encourage anyone to try it out. I liked the use of square format for some. I think that is quite minimalist since you don’t look to the distant edges for more visual input. Thank you too for not including a list of equipment and exposure data. That can be distracting. Just a few suggestions about the types of lens and exposure starting points … excellent.
