It’s NOT going to destroy any renewable energy source!! It might be more efficient and produce more power, but its not ‘destroying’ anything. Stop sounding the typical Americanised, hyperbolic bullshitter!!

The wind turbine is non passive, mechanical and will fail and stop. Bearings will not last and other moving parts will fail. My passive solar panel has 90% of its original panel output even thirty years old . The sun doesn’t shine all the time yes, but the wind doesn’t blow all the time! Wind turbines you need a tower the higher the better, I have plenty of roof space for panels. Turbines kill birds, make noise, and maintenance of any kind is hard to get to 20ft off the ground! I have had both but chose the solar panels over wind turbines. Many of my neighbors have come to the same conclusion!

the wind does not always blow when you want it to. for the price of one of these I can get enough solar panels for 1/2 my energy requirements

  4. @hmm9051 on February 5, 2025 at 4:40 pm

To expensive if the environment was really in immediate danger this would we rolled out and basically given away.

This video is so biased that I can’t even watch it. This isn’t an either or situation, both would be best.

  6. @RayvandenBel on February 5, 2025 at 4:42 pm

The price is too high to get your investment back soon and when they treat these systems they don’t produce anyway near the output they are promising. Finally, you will never hear any producer of windmills like these about the annual service costs. They are mechanical and move, rotate. Parts need lubrication and need to be replaced. That isn’t cheap..

China will copy this, sell it for 1/10th the price and this company will go broke.
    Sad but true.

  15. @Terry-y2r on February 5, 2025 at 4:53 pm

Mostly rubbish. solar is much cheaper on small scale home installation. Also this novel wind turbine is less efficient compared to a conventional turbine.

The maximum efficiency of a wind turbine, known as the Betz Limit, is around 59.3%. This means that no wind turbine, regardless of design, can capture more than 59.3% of the kinetic energy in the wind.
In simpler terms, the Betz Limit signifies that a wind turbine can only extract a maximum of 59.3% of the total energy available in the wind passing through its blades.
This video was obviously created by some marketing department, as it is full of outright lies and deliberate deceptions.
If you want more power from a wind turbine increase its cross-section to the wind. For every 41% that you increase the cross-section (diameter) you will double the available output. These tiny things may be quieter than some traditional bladed designs, but not more efficient, and they would be terrible in most extreme environments on the planet where small wind power is most needed. Imagine trying to de-ice that thing after a snow/ice storm.

Biomass co2 is carbon neutral, part of the normal carbon cycle, unlike coal and petroleum. Meters per second? What is that in MPH, what is your target audience ? If it is Dutch, great, if it is USA you just missed.

  22. @ThePzrLdr on February 5, 2025 at 4:58 pm

You need 2 building permits for that, one from the county, the other a local…. which is problematic at best.

  23. @humandisorder3962 on February 5, 2025 at 4:59 pm

Boooring. There is nothing better than my old rusty Ford Transit TDCI producing electricity from waste vegetable oil on my farm. And Greta, STFU 😂

  24. @george-hz9xq on February 5, 2025 at 5:04 pm

I have worked with Wind Turbines for 23 years and more.
Please don’t be taken in by this fixture. It will definitely generate some amps but not gor long.
It is impossible to balance and will shake itself apart in a few months.
The 3 prop horizontal wind turbine is the way to go.
Aim for a 1kw model or even a 2kw Chinese jobbie.
You need to learn how to fly them and they are addictive, especially when you have the dump load immersion heating water.
Forget about Verticle Axis or anything othere than the 3 blade horizontal axis wind turbine.
You can balance them to perfection. Soundproof them and make them reliable. Ours has been running faithfully since 2008.
    Good luck.

  28. @plinble on February 5, 2025 at 5:07 pm

Solar -no moving parts. The turbine -2 moving axes, for oiling. They can work out a big structure to amplify the wind and direct a high speed flow to the thing at 1m above the ground. Right idea, just not finished.

  29. @Johnhanssonify on February 5, 2025 at 5:07 pm

I think the person who made the video got the kwh wrong!!!!

  30. @masteryoda2918 on February 5, 2025 at 5:08 pm

That thumb nail picture is VERY misleading.
However lets do the relativity math:
so the monocrystaleane photovoltic arrays are at best 17% efficient which means your "100%" is actually 17%
which means divide 100 / 17 and get 5.88… then take that as the relational factor and divide the "486%" by the same factor and you get …
    486 / 5.882352941 = 82.62% and then we get a way more realistic figure!
turns out that this figure is a smidgen higher than what you would normally expect from a wind powered turbine system typically around 70% so I guess 82.62 is better, but my math is at least more realistic 😛

South Australia is discovering that when there is no wind or sun, they must use natural gas to generate electricity. Nevertheless this Liam generator seems to be a better design than propellor type turbines for household or small commercial generation. But, the cost 10-15,000 USD, compares to a complete solar system with 6KW of solar panels, quality Victron solar charger and inverter and 11kw of Pylontech LeFePo batteries and installation costs. In a country like Australia, the solar option is ahead of wind.

  32. @winstonsmith935 on February 5, 2025 at 5:12 pm

You need Wind and Sun everyday to make these the work at peak efficiency, Solar is less than 30% efficient

  33. @Shermanbay on February 5, 2025 at 5:13 pm

This appears to be nothing more than a puff piece for a product, but there is nothing here but dubious advertising. If it is really so good, why don’t you show the statistics instead of the hype?

  34. @ElwynPhillips on February 5, 2025 at 5:15 pm

Yea ok but yet again relying on the weather to produce power. No wind no power.

  36. @jacktheripper-hp9tx on February 5, 2025 at 5:16 pm

this is a scam a solar panel works even if its cloudy
that joke of a wind spinny thing has to be moving at a good speed to make power
go out side right now and see if there is any wind
the solar panel will make power every day all day that there is light cloudy or not
i bought a 500 buck wind turbine and its crap i unhooked it from my solar stuff now it sits on the roof still doing nothing

No one tech will ‘destroy’ any other Solar produces more during the day, and wind compliments it nicely by being productive more at night. However many places will go days without wind, so wind can’t replace anything, just compliment it.

There are quite a few negative comments about these turbines; however, these devices are growing in popularity and, according to Copilot, as of January 2025, Archimedes has sold over 7,000 units in 14 countries. It doesn’t sound like this is a fad at all, especially if the unit price falls as they become more widespread.

  48. @michaelvanallen6400 on February 5, 2025 at 5:27 pm

*All practical tests of ground-based small wind turbines show: 1) They hardly produce any electricity! 2) They do not last long!*
Electricity yield is proportional to third power of wind speed: +100% wind generates +800% more electricity! Close to ground: 0 constant wind, but extreme gusts!
*Due to extreme price decline solar panels generate at least 10 times more electricity with the same investment in time & money!* Unfortunately not at night and not much in winter! But reliable && maintenance-free for 25 y+! And you need a battery for wind and solar. 9 out of 10 small wind turbines stop working after just a few years due to the extremely gusty winds close to ground.

Who cares co2 or no co2 the whole thing is a con job a big huge net Zero scam! If this turbine powers your house and it works as it sais it does delivers efficiently with no blackouts at night without any access bils is saving money in peoples pockets is genuine and claims its authenticity then fine i will look into it! If it does not and turns out a fraud then go back to coal or nuclear power and stop this nonsense of making the world greener cause no one gives a crap about this environmental fake reality ilusion thats currently forced on people there should be a choice not putting a gun to peoples heads to buy an ilusion that does not exist all to suit government! People are having it tough out there cause the western world made it tough on purpose due to a globalist agenda ye lets be realistic in who realy wants to make money on people to make them richer! People just want to save on energy bills lets start thinking ahead logicaly not act like 2 year old kids and face reality not fake reality witch does not exist we are adults dont let them pusha scam that will go nowhere we are here to find a humane solution and live a peaceful life not a life to live on our knees!! Think about it?
