Eenour is not a brand name that gives me any confidence in the quality of the product lol. It sounds like one those random fly by night Chinese companies that you see on Amazon.
I totally appreciate and benefited from your review – thanks so much because I know these take a lot of time, effort.
I do need to say however, although I’m using your review to expose the build and features, I’m observing that the resulting charts comparisons bear a compromise if intended as a comparison conclusion. Because even though you had a beautiful day, the process (you put them all in the same place) assumed the sun intensity and the panel design all received commensurate efficient angle of exposure. But I’m sure it took you all day to perform and collect- the Sun varies across the sky. I don’t see you using a tool for optimizing each panel’s angle for absorption – but I do each of those panels when I deploy in the field and I make adjustments throughout the day.
Clearly including all of those optimizers during this ambitious test would result in different, more accurate results to compare.
*But this was so helpful and I agree with your Bluetti build and feature assessment. And for my application, I don’t mind the additional Bluetti costs, because over the span of a year of high performance, the $50 = $80 difference won’t be as important to me, as the year of performance boost (I’ll try to buy when discount, or bundled). Deploy and satisfy your charging quicker, then you can get back on the road earlier.
thanks so much !
The wind would quickly destroy all of the panels surely this is a demo they would have to be really anchor Ed to be practical
Thanks for the info. I just changed my mind about buying EcoFlow 400-watt panels. lol
Nice breakdown of panels. Thank you for great info.
I wish you had adjusted the angle to match the angle of the sun for your location and time of the year.
Then the results would be more comparable.
Thank you. This helps a lot. Do they modify these units very often? Is an update worthwhile?
can’t beat renogy.
thank you for making this video it helping me decide which pannel to conider buying
Solar panels are crap. I bought a 200 watt solar panel from bougrv. This piece of crap has never given me more than 108 Watts of input from the Sun . They’re taking a 100 watt panel calling in a 200 watt panel so they can charge double the price. All of these companies do this. Something has got to be done. If anything you should get more input than the rating. I have yet to see a solar panel company put out a panel that gets the solar input it claims. I will never buy another solar panel. My next purchase will be a gas-powered 2000 Watt generator . Solar is a great form of energy but the solar companies are screwing us on the price. If people would just quit buying this crap we could get the price to come down.
The EENOUR 400W Portable Solar Panels are no longer available
Just a comment on watering the solar panels. Not only are the panels being cooled but I believe the water droplets intensify the sun it receives temporarily.
I had a sun shower that last about 35 min and it happened just after 6pm in late September, when there is normally very little production. During that sun shower, my solar produced about 1.5 kwh. On a sunny day without rain, it produced about .6 kwh at that same time of day during the few days before and after.
Really wish I’d seen this before buying the Ecoflow 400 panels – not are they just so heavy but that stand makes it so frustrating. Total waste of money as I’m buying other panels now which I can actually use. The website is so confusing and misleading regarding these.
Maybe I missed it but I did not see any information on longevity. My understanding is solar panels can degrade over time. Do you have a comparision of the brands tested on which ones still provide the most output over time?
What about regular solar panels ?
Hi, txs for the fantastic comparison. I’m curious about your solar power, can Anker F2000 charge a Tesla 3 ? Thank you.
Thanks for making this video.
Excellent video . really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this video. I plan to have 2x400w panels in parallel to compensate for the lack of shade free sunlight / cloudy days with a connected load of 200W~300W. Being in parallel VOC will not exceed the 60v limit for Ecoflow Delta 2 . I wonder if it is safe for Delta2 where intake limits to 15amps in scenarios of 700W+ production during sunny hours
Thanks for doing my homework for me. 🙂
I actually bought 2 x ALLPOWERS 400W panels. But you also need to buy converter cables and extra cables to reach out to your yard, if you want the power bank in your house. I also bought a 200W ALLPOWERS, but when we moved I sold that one on Ebay quite easily. I have 3 Anker batteries including a 767 with an expansion battery.
Bigblue is currently £254 in the prime day event couldn’t resist even though it was one of the lower performers the price per watt was lower than some of the budget 200w panels
Just give me a honda 2000 inverter, the only way to charge a battery pack in hours not days😂
so is voc end all be all meaning if voc showing 49v can you do 3 in series and rest assured you wont hit > 150v?
Really great content. Was going to go with the EcoFlow panel to go with my EcoFlow Delta Pro system but that PITA case/stand is no bueno. Bluetti looks solid. Very well-made comparison video and not overly technical.
Hello how are these panels connected, via high voltage? Does 400W of the 400W actually arrive?
Thank you for your detailed testing. None of these solar panels will stand the wind I have when I need these panels and all require a DIY external frame to hold them upright in a wind.
Great video. I would like to see same test on an overcast day.
Superb scientific experiment – brilliant! Personally the AllPowers with IP67 rating and highest shaded output overall. at an amazing price was the clear winner to me.
Why didnt you include renogy?
Haze, looked clear as a bell to me.
Great review. Perfect information if you need a light and portable panel. I prefer the much heavier and way less expensive hard panels. Keep in mind that I leave them up for months at a time in extremely windy conditions. Keep up the good reviews.
What were they thinking over at Ecoflow?
It’s not just the price that changes all the time, so does the quality. Many of these brands don’t actually make the cells, they just buy whatever they manage to get the best deal on that week, so even the same model from the same brand can vary quite a bit. More established brands are more likely to enforce minimum specs (because they have more to lose), but don’t count on it.
Świetny film 👍 w końcu obejrzałem na świecie porównanie tych paneli- przydało by się byś nagrał również przenośnych 1000v,1500,2000
This is a spot on review with lots of great information. I ended up going with the Anker PS400 and I got it half price on Amazon during the Oct 9-10 sale. I also got the Anker SOLIX C1000 with it as a bundle half price.
Good job my man, loved your content, learned alot
Great video. I can’t find the link to the results spreadsheet and graphs, nor can I find a new tab in the power stations data page. Please help. Thanks.
I’m in Australia and I have had 425w coming out of mine! One happy customer. I’ve only used it a few times…
VTOMan is becoming a very popular brand. Can you work a VTOman 400 watt foldup solar panel kit into your comparison?
As an outsider in the whole solar business it’s rather disappointing that not one was able to reach their rated power even as a peak. Makes it really hard to not be scammed based on advertised performance. So I guess you always have to overshoot your solar goals by almost 40% to actually reach it. Very costly and very sad.
It’s invaluable. Can’t thank you enough. Bluetti’s sold out, and expensive, even on sale. Many are unwieldy. Are two 200Ws better, maybe? Connecting to a F2000 is a last question.
Excellent review, and the spreadsheet with all the data in one easy to see chart is much appreciated
Very thorough, helpful test. Thanks!
I have two of the Anker PS400 panels with the Anker Solix F3800 power station. I plug one each into the xt60 ports on the F3800, but I have yet to see more than 200 watts from each panel. I’ve experimented with angle and direction, but just getting around 200w per panel max. How to determine if they are defective, or if its me?
if you’re setting up portable solar panels, your time is worth nothing so who cares how long it takes.
What about the VTOMAN 400 watt solar panel?
20c a day is at least a hobby that is net profitable.
So do you use actual numbers or the hypothetical numbers when planning out what panels and how many to get? For instance I just purchased a delta pro 3. The allpower for instance is pulling 37.4 volts but 45.3 voc. If you use voc then. you could only have 3 panels in series where as the actual numbers looks like you would use 4 panels.
Wish prices and dates were mentioned
HI, do you have video on solar blankets? thanks.
