I have mine for 20 years and it’s still firm and the memory foam holds it shape.

Good hint to let a new pad inflate for some hours. That would be a bad surprise, if we’re tired and that thing stays flat! π

If I give it 8 or 12 puffs (Iβm a bagpiper for 40 years) and it becomes stiff, sausage-tight and pings like a drum when I thump itβ¦ will it pop when I lay down on it?

Are there ever concerns about mold growing inside the pad, due to moist breathing, and then being exposed to the mold when you blow into the valve of the pad? Thanks.
